THE ROUTE
Cannonball heads to the west coast for an unforgettable two-day journey through some of County Clare’s most striking scenery. Beginning at The Lakeside Hotel in Killaloe, the route takes in dramatic coastal roads, landmark stops and some of the region’s most renowned landscapes, before concluding the day with an overnight stay at Bunratty Castle Hotel. Day two continues with another scenic Clare route, including lunch in Kilfenora and more memorable driving roads, before returning to Bunratty for a final evening.
Cannonballers will experience highlights including the Burren, Fanore, Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher coastal route, Bridge of Ross, Loop Head Lighthouse, Quilty Beach and Corkscrew Hill. Blending wild Atlantic scenery, iconic locations and relaxed hospitality, The Clare Tour promises a memorable mix of adventure, character and standout west of Ireland driving.

The Clare Tour begins at The Lakeside Hotel in Killaloe, where Cannonballer will gather ahead of departure for the first stage of the weekend. Set on the shores of Lough Derg, it provides the perfect starting point for an unforgettable journey through County Clare.
LUNCH STOP: Armada Hotel, Spanish Point, Co. Clare
Lunch will be enjoyed at the Armada Hotel in Spanish Point, offering a relaxed stop along the coast with beautiful Atlantic views. It is the ideal point to pause, take in the scenery and enjoy the route so far.
